Further up the coastline on the Sea to Sky Highway is Britannia Beach which has seen an enormous growth in real estate development plans. The Britannia Beach real estate market is booming, with many open and serviced lots coming onto the market. Shannon Falls is the next area you will encounter on your way up to Whistler BC and this is a beautiful provincial park area that is so unique, that you will want to stay for a while. Close by is the City of Squamish which has grown leaps and bounds during the past five years, mainly do to its picturesque setting, close proximity to Whistler/Blackcomb and also affordable real estate. The Rock is the place to do your outdoor climbing and hiking, and it is considered the largest standing rock in the world after Ayers Rock in Australia.
