BREAKING NEWS: The Carlyle Victoria Hill High-Rise Condos Pushed Back

Beau Jarvis, the VP of Development for Onni real estate developers in Greater Vancouver has confirmed that the luxury New Westminster Carlyle condo high-rise tower in the popular Victoria Hill neighbourhood will be pushed back and completion is expected to be for late 2010. Citing that the original 2 high-rise buildings in Victoria Hill were delayed by more than a year, ample buffer time was built in for the new Carlyle condos at Victoria Hill in New West's real estate market at the onset of pre-construction sales about two years ago. This is not a delayed project as the original occupancy was set for mid to late 2010. However, because construction has been smooth and ahead of schedule, Onni Developers would be able to launch the completed New Westminster Carlyle high-rise condo tower early by late 2009, a year early. However, most pre-sale New West Carlyle Victoria Hill condo home buyers were not too eager to close this soon and so far ahead of schedule and therefore, Onni has pulled back the timeline and slowed down the construction pace.
