As the tide is turning from a seller’s market to a buyers’ market in the downtown Vancouver real estate market, Concord Pacific follows the Holborn Group’s suspension of the Vancouver Ritz-Carlton condo-hotel construction as well as the financial problems face by the Millennium Group for their Millennium Water and Olympic Athlete’s Village developments. Concord Pacific, the largest owner of remaining developable land in downtown Vancouver real estate market is currently promoting their new condo development at the GM Place West Georgia Cosmo Condominium tower residences. Originally, Concord Pacific was going to launch pre-sales for these Cosmo Vancouver False Creek apartments in late fall or early winter this year, but right now it seems as though even this large developer is thinking twice about releasing pre-construction marketing and sales for the much anticipated Cosmo condo development.
